Whether you are delivering a conference talk, defend your thesis, or are leading a classroom discussion, strong presentation skills are essential. This week, you will explore the key elements of effective presentations and reflect on the difference they make. Then, you will put them into practice – time to shine!

Learning goals for this week:

  1. Understand key elements of successful presentations and what difference they make.
  2. Develop confidence and clarity in public speaking by preparing and practicing delivering a short speech.
  3. Practice self-evaluation by critically reviewing one’s own recorded presentation and giving yourself feedback.

Your tasks for this week:

  • Watch the following two videos on tips and tricks of how to improve your presenting style

Homework Task:

  • Record yourself presenting
